Why AGL?
Understanding ALLIANCE x AGL
1. AGL Event ID - Every tournament on an Alliance League Schedule should be created in AthletesGoLive and receive a unique AGL Event ID

2. Teams must use the AGL Event ID and score and stream with AGL to be eligible for Alliance Team Points, Stat Leaderboards, and Awards
3. It is FREE for any team to score and stream with AGL
4. There are paid options to meet fans, athletes and teams additional needs including:

Camera Rentals-AGL offers a proprietary camera to maximize the viewing experience for families

Subscriptions- Fans and athletes can upgrade their accounts to access addition features including on demand games, stats and recruiting tools

Event Types
Tournaments on Alliance League Schedules can be Stats-Only, Points Events, and/or Qualifiers.

Stats-Only Events
All tournaments can be designated as stats-only events where Alliance Athletes’ stats from the tournament are added to their Alliance season totals within their Alliance Profiles, included in Alliance Leaderboards, and included towards Player Awards and Recognition.
There are usually no minimum requirements on game time length or finishing the inning

Points & Stats Events
Help teams earn points towards their Alliance Team Rating which ranks Teams in their League and Nationally. Player stats are added to season totals (same as Stats-Only events). Every League has their own requirements for game time minimums and finishing the inning to be classified as Points Events

Qualifiers
​Alliance Leagues assign certain tournaments as Qualifiers meaning teams can earn AFCS Berths and/or Super Cup Berths (national event berths). Team Points and Player Stats are both calculated from these event types (same as Points & Stats Events). Every League has their own requirements for tournament format, game time minimums and finishing the inning for Tournaments to be classified as Qualifiers.

Understanding AGL Athlete Recognition
Some of our most popular and asked-about features, here is where you can find everything you need to understand about AGL recognition features.
Leaderboards
Each Alliance tournament will have it's own live leaderboard. Leaderboards are updated in real-time as teams score and stream their games. To show up on leaderboards, teams must both score AND stream with AGL. If a team is not appearing on the leaderboards and needs to be, Â please instruct them to contact support@athletesgolive.com with the event name.
All-Tournament Teams
For any event with enough participation (generally 3-4+ teams on the leaderboard), All-Tournament Teams will be created from the stats on the leaderboard. All-Tournament teams will be posted to our softball social accounts on X, Instagram and Facebook by Thursday of the following week. We encourage you to share to your pages as well. Â If you wish to create and post your own, you are welcome to! Just email us at marketing@athletesgolive.com and let us know.
AGL Highlight Clips
Any athlete can submit clips at any time to marketing@athletesgolive.com. We regularly post the highlight clips we receive to our social media pages. If you would also like to post clips that get sent in, please encourage your teams to submit clips, and we will create a clip library for your event company, that you can access at any time. Please also tag us in any AGL clips that you post, so that we can share them with our audience as well.
